The month of June was especially busy for me with quite a number of brides and me shuttling the length & breadth of the Lagos Metropolis & ending it with a trip to Abuja to attend to a bride who had me on hold for 2yrs till her date was finally picked.
In the History of my country Nigeria,lots of lives have been lost the past few months & it was crowned with the Fateful DANA airline crash of Sunday June 3rd. Over 153lives were lost both on the craft and on land and it hit home when i discovered my Cousin & namesake(Adekunbi Irene Adebiyi) & an intending bride(Ayoola Somolu) who had booked my services in August were aboard that very flight.
It was a very hard time for their families and friends(i inclusive), that blogging was nowhere possible. It was a great loss for the country & many families & it brought my attention to how many times i had heard about tragedies & had waved them aside because it in no way affected me.
We pray that the Lord grants the families of the deceased the fortitude to bear the loss & pray that such tragedies will be a thing of the past In Jesus' Name.
