Hey Pretties,
Bisola(better known as Bisco) happens to be an aburo(Younger sister) and when I heard the good news that she was getting married, I was hopeful I would be her makeup artist.
It initially didn't look that way because I was booked for the chosen dates, but when the dates got changed,I was available on one of both days.
If there's anything I was truly glad about, it was the fact that she completely trusted me to do some magic. I can categorically tell you that this is good news for any makeup artist especially if you're like me and hardly do trials(to me,a trial and the actual thing just aren't the same-No Motivation)
With all the Oohs & Aahs from her friends, she was all smiles and that was enough for me :-D

Replicate : Abi's White Wedding Look
Hey Pretties,
It's Christmas day & here's wishing all readers of my blog a very Merry Christmas. May Christ the Reason For the season dwell in your hearts richly & may our lives be a reflection of his wondrous love towards us.
I would have loved to do a holiday inspired look for you, but mehn - O dikwa next year, lol. In the interim, i decided to teach you how i achieved one of Abi's bridal looks for those who need some inspiration for what look to wear today or this festive season.
It was difficult deciding which of Abi's looks to share with you, but i decided this look is the easiest of the 2.
For her Eyes -
1). I covered dark areas of her eyes with some concealer, outlined her bows with Davis's Brow Pencil in '018' & filled it in with BM Pro's Brow Powder in 'Auburn'.
2). I then highlighted her brows with a concealer 2 shades lighter than her skin tone & set it with a matching shadow with a hint of shimmer
3). I went over her lids with Bm Pro's Eyeshadow base in 'Light' & blended it into her crease
4). In her crease i blended Casabella's eyeshadow in 'Navajo Brown' to add definition & depth to her eye area
5). In the inner corner to 3/4 of her lids i used a mix of MAC's Eyeshadows in 'Paradisco' & 'Expensive Pink' & for the outer 1/4 of her lid, i used a mix of MAC's Eyeshadows in 'Carbon' & 'Fig 1'
6). I lined her upper lashline with Casabella's Indelible Gel Eyeliner in 'INK' & applied KISS by I-Envy lashes in 'Au Naturale 02 - KPE 09'
7). On her lower lashes,i went in with Jordana's Easyliner Eyeliner in 'Midnight Blue'
For her Lips -
1). I lined 3/4 of her lips with Jordana's Lip Pencil in 'Plum' & blended with my finger
2). I filled in the inner lower lip with Jordana's Lipstick in 'Barely Pink' (A Baby Pink Color with Shimmer in it)
3). I filled her entire upper lip and perimeter of her lower lip with Black Opal's Lipstick in 'Congo Pink' (A Fuscia Pink Color just like what you see in my Logo)
4). I blended both lip colors with Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Lipgloss in 'Sugar High' - That's my HG clear lipgloss right there *wink*
So try it out & i would be delighted to see what you were able to come up with. Have a Fun & memorable Holiday - sitpretty412@yahoo.com

Pretty Makeover : Clean Beauty!
Hey Pretties,
Ejiro happens to be a current student of mine & as part of the training i give,i teach DIY where i help you identify the strongest features of your face & show you how to make them look stunning.
I believe a makeup artist/any woman in the beauty industry should be able to project her services just by the way she appears . I mean, you can't sell Spa beauty treatments to someone when you have awful & scarred skin & expect good business.
That aside,we began the class with a proper foundation & concealer routine. I Shared the importance of applying makeup on very clean skin as well as the effectiveness of Primers. You can judge by her picture below the difference doing so makes.
Then, i went ahead to show her how to bring out the eyes, lips & face without a Myriad of wild looking-colors. Most clients i've met believe the louder the colors, the more work you've done. I BEG TO DIFFER!!
Products Used
Face
- MaryKay Medium Coverage Foundation in 607
- Black Opal Stick Foundation in Nutmeg
- Milani Mineral Powder in Warm & Iman Powder in Earth Dark
- Casabella 'Sangria' Eyeshadow as Blush
Eyes

- MAC 'Fig1' & 'Embark' Eyeshadows (Outer Corner of the eye)
Lips
- Zaron 'Prune Juice' Lipliner pencil
- Milani 'Pink Mood' Lipstick

Product Review : Casabella Matte Eyeshadows in 'Navajo Brown' & 'Sangria'
Hey Pretties,
I have been a huge fan of Casabella Beauty for 2years owned by Mrs Bukola George who also owns & runs the prestigious 'Healthplus' Pharmacy in Nigeria.
Both businesses i patronise often & so this isn't an advert for them, but great brands should be celebrated once in a while.
Anyway,Casabella owns the REVLON franchise in Nigeria & carry other brands like MAC,Studio Secrets,Almay,Bobbi Brown,Milani, you name it!
So imagine my joy when i learnt they had their own brand, but the catch is : THEY AREN'T BRANDED! Why? i'm absolutely clueless.
PROS :
- They are highly pigmented. A little swipe goes a long way.
- They're very easy to blend.
- Even though they are Eyeshadows, they double as Blushes (only if you have a light hand).
- The price point is very reasonable for 3grams of Product.
- Navajo Brown triples as an Eyebrow Powder(Good Value for your Money if you ask me).
As a great fan of matte eyeshadows , this is one purchase i'll be making Over & Over & Over Again!!
So if you happen to be in any of the Shoprite Malls ( Lekki, Suru-lere & Ikeja ), stop by Casabella & be sure to say who referred you.
xoxo
