LOVE OLALEYE's Celebration (in Pictures)

Hey Pretties,

If you're a makeup artist and haven't heard of Love's Recent Accomplishment, Pele!!! You should try to know more about people in the industry.

Love recently took part in the FACE TO FACE MAKEUP COMPETITION at The Makeup Show,Orlando Florida, USA. It was pleasing news as Love & I have grown closer than sisters & she kept me up to speed on every step she took.

Her experience would move you to tears as she faced certain challenges, but never for once did she get discouraged, but she edged on believing she could do it. And do it she did, SHE WON!!!!!!!

This is why she deserves to be celebrated because she has proved anything is possible if you believe & work towards it.

The Beautiful Cake

The Celebration took place at the Coral Hall, Idowu Martins street ,Victoria Island & the red carpet kicked off at 4:30pm (which i was  late for because of the Connect series which also took place earlier that day :-( )

THE MAKEUP & BEAUTY CONNECT SERIES (in pictures)

Hey Pretties,

Sunday the 20th of October was the date. Venue was OUR PLACE on Funmi Okikiolu street, off Toyin street ,Ikeja.

Organized by Omolola Faleye of POPS Concepts, it was a well attended networking event with great minds and artists, makeup enthusiasts & intending makeup artists in Attendance. I left the event encouraged & passionate about seeing the beauty profession regarded highly by members of our society & not a profession for drop-outs(who are people by the way) or a profession for people who can't put their brains to work.

Celebrating Artistry,Determination,Faith & Hardwork - LOVE OLALEYE

Hey Pretties,

I want to tell you a little story about an amazing woman who has become very dear to my heart.

Will Share how i achieved the look later

She's a talented makeup artist who recently took part in the FACE to FACE Makeup Competition at the Makeup Show(a networking, educational , inspirational makeup event and exhibition which occurs in several locations in the United States) which took place in Orlando, Florida and emerged WINNER,Yay! Big Deal If You Ask Me!

With One Of The Models She Worked On As a Team

Love Olaleye is a Nigerian -born chemical engineer whose quest into the world of makeup art started as a hobby; doing makeup for brides and friends. Her facial experiments soon grew into a passion when she enrolled as a Mary Kay Consultant in 2007 while she was still at the prestigious University of Port-Harcourt, Nigeria.  Exploring the passion further, meant taking up a professional makeup course at Brushstrokes Makeover Limited, where she was awarded an ‘A Grade” Certificate in Makeup Art.  This inevitable earned her a place to work as an instructor in the organization for the next one year. This move proved to be strategic as it grew her natural instincts for makeup brand enterprise.

Flawless Beauty, her flagship business which  began in December 2009 has since grown to accommodate a rich bouquet of clientele which includes some of Nigeria’s biggest celebrities. Olaleye’s certifications among many others include an Advanced Professional Certificate in Makeup artistry from Epro Image Institute in Madrid, Spain and a business certificate from African Business Academy, Lagos where she serves as a volunteer facilitator. She also had the honor of being chosen amongst the pioneer IBM Enterprise 100 Challenge Graduates in Nigeria.

At Work On A Bride
Her quest for excellence in makeup  art has seen her continuously strive to take her trade across the border of the world’s most populous black nation. In 2010 she featured in Destiny Magazine, South Africa’s first high-end women’s magazine. She has also visited and facilitated in makeup workshops in select African countries like Ghana and Togo. Back home,  Olaleye has featured in fashion shows such as Nigerian Television fashion show (NTSF) and has appeared on several TV programmes as special guest. She actively participated in The makeup show (TMS) held in Newyork.

One Of Her Creations At the Makeup Show Competition (I Love The Neatness Of the Body Art)
Love Olaleye is currently the Chief Creative Officer at her own thriving makeup enterprise, - Flawles Beauty, a business she runs alongside her makeup school - the Flawless Academy of Makeup Art. She lives and works in Nigeria, a country that is home to over 70,000,000 black women. Her dream which is not too far from the present, is to fuse her knowledge in Chemical Engineering with her passion for Makeup art to create lasting partnership with global brands.
There will be a reception in her honor later today, will keep you updated

Hugs & Kisses
