Recreate This Look : Lazy Bones!!

Hey Pretties,

Anyone who rolls with me knows this quote : '' It's not everything you know about Makeup that you should apply on your face at every opportunity '' .

What i mean by that is that sometimes, you need to go out in a hurry and you don't have time for proper eyeshadow blending or are just clueless about what colors to put together. At the end of the day, you end up with wrongly applied foundation, eyeshadow looking like you just walked off the Ru Paul's DragRace, Eyebrows like toothpicks & lips like you just got bitch slapped (i'm funny, i know :-D)

So i decided to create this simple look ( i believe so ) on an Intern of mine,Doni, that i believe anyone can rock.

 On Her Face :

- Foundation : MaryKay Medium Coverage Foundation

- Concealer : MaryKay & Mac Studio Finish Concealers

- Powder : Zaron Mattifying Pressed Powders

- Blush : MaryKay #Bloom, Bm Pro #Eggplant & #Phlox

- Bronzer : Zaron Contour Palette

On Her Eyes :

- I started off by filling in her Brows with an Indigenous Brow Gel ( Review Coming Soon ) & then cleaned it up with Mac's Studio Finish Concealer & a frosty eyeshadow

- I then lined her eyes with #Maybelline Colossal Kajal,
#Zaron's Black Velvet EyePencil, topped off with #BlackRadiance Liquid Eyeliner

- I used MaryKay's LashLove Mascara on her top & bottom Lashes, topped off with Brandless Lashes (Available in The Studio)

- Then, with a large eyeshadow blending Brush, i applied a matte brown shadow in the Crease of her eye.

On Her Lips :

- I started off by lining her lips & creating a Cupid's Bow where she lacks one using #Mac's Nightmoth Lip Pencil

- I went further by applying Maybelline's Lipstick in Coral in the center of her lips & then applied over it #Mac's Discontinued Viva Glam Nicki Lipstick ( which is a lovely cool lilac shade ) & then blended all the products into one another, topped off with clear gloss.

You know i always love to get feedback, so please try out variations of this look and send me pictures to my email : sitpretty412@yahoo.com

I would love to show you guys off *wide grin*

Bridal Feature : OdunBalo

Hey Pretties,

Our Bridal Calendar for 2015 started on a very good note with our dear Odunayo Balodun. 7 months prior to her wedding, she had contacted me just after her Intro & the picked dates to inform me of her D-day.

Odunayo Balogun

She wasted no time in making her payments, but we never had a trial-run because of my busy itinery, but nevertheless,we were in touch.

A day before her Engagement, i finally got to meet her as i paid a courtesy visit to her home being New Year's Day, you should have seen how excited she & her mum were. I felt like a Celeb, lol

So,on the Long-Awaited Traditional Wedding day, i headed to her mum to get her Picture ready & Mummy Balo, sprung up her specifications on me, the funniest being 'CONTOURING & HIGHLIGHTING' & in my head, i was like 'Err,Are you the Bride Ma'. She ensured i took an hour on her with constant suggestions. I found it a bit funny, but it's also her Big day i guess, so why not accomodate her??

On Odun on the other hand, i went all out. Gear Ready, Tools on Standby, No smiling Face, No Phone Picking. It was her face & I today, hahaha!! I will stop here & let you be the judge.  Happy Viewing!!

Beautiful Abbiee O

Hey Pretties,

Let me introduce you to one of our clients who has grown from being a client to becoming a friend.

We met exactly 2 years ago when she was scouting for a makeup artist. Thanks to referrals, i won her heart from day 1.

One thing that hasn't changed since i met her is the way she loves her nude lippie, no matter the look.

On this particular day, she was headed to her Place of Work's End Of Year Party & the theme was 'Color Blocking'. So i infused the colors she had on on her eyes & applied it in a subtle , keeping the skin flawless & not losing her beauty to the makeup

Thanks for that beautiful smile Abbiee

How to Make Nude Makeup Interesting

Hey Pretties,

want to share a few tips on how to look stunning even if you aren't a fan of colors on your face.

Bukola Oke

 - Ensure your foundation application is flawless. Use Concealers for those hard to cover areas, to brighten & perfect the skin tone

- Use a bronzer on the apple of your cheeks. It brings dimension back to the face after setting your foundation with powder

Jewelry Sold At The Studio

- For the eyes, choose eyeshadow colors that are slightly lighter than the skin and line your eyes & pop on some lashes

- Use a lipliner that's just a shade darker than the client's skintone & then use nude lipsticks like #Mac Peachstock , Myth or Velvet Teddy OR #Zaron Barefaced, topped off with a clear Lipgloss

And off you go, looking effortlessly breath-taking
