Skin Care Addition + Review : Embryollise Lait-Cream Concentre & Lait-Cream Fluide

Hey Pretties,

it's amazing how unimportant a lot of ladies take moisturizing,as i have found it to be very important in how your skin looks and how your makeup turns out.

See it as you watering a pot of flowers, the more time you deprive that flower pot of good moisture, the more the flower leaves will wilt.

Sad gist is that i don't have the smoothest of faces and I was able to track down 2 major culprits in my diet : Peanuts & Chocolates. What is Garri on the Rocks ,without 'groundnuts' ehn??

Sadly,iv had to forgo them for better looking skin (i'm not there yet, but how i admire those who can eat anything and get away with it ).

But if there is anything i don't joke with, it's how i cleanse & maintain healthy - looking skin despite the not-so-smooth face i have. Moisturizers are one thing i would splurge on & so i had a dear friend get me both products. One for my clients & the other for my Personal use.

Lait Creme Concentre

Lait Creme Fluide

The Lait-Cream Concentre is a much thicker consistency that the Lait-Cream Fluide and while the former is meant solely for the face, the latter is for both face & body.

So not only does my face get some pampering, so does my body. The Pros of both products outweigh the con :-)

What I Love About Them

- They do exactly what you require (Moisturize , Nourish , Brighten )
- They allow makeup glide better on skin that's dry and patchy
- They double as makeup removers when applied with a cotton pad after washing your makeup off
- They can sheer out foundation that's too thick

Con

- For those who don't like the obvious signs / feel of moisturizer, you might dislike the emollient feel, but believe me when i say its not such a displeasing feeling

- A bit pricey if you're on a budget, but a little drop goes a long way

So that's one recommendation i hope you won't pass off.

Picking the Right Aso-oke For Your Special Day!!

Hey Pretties,
It won't make any sense if i make excuses for not posting as regularly as i should. Instagram has 'kobad' me, it's easy to put all the pictures and words into one post.

But because i'm one for staying true,i'm on a mission to make it up to you. No procastination, no poor delivery, all i can promise is FRESHLY SERVED as best as my life would allow.

We'll start with ASO-OKE and how to pick the best combos. I worked on brides who used the most amazing aso-oke combos in 2013.

The Winner was Bimbo's WHITE ON WHITE COMBO (which she actually made herself), She's the CEO of Traditions By Bimms and she made her aso-oke & beads, SuperShe Right?? She made 2 beads, but we all preferred the Red & that's what she eventually rocked to her event, simply because it popped against the white.

Bimbo Of Traditions by Bimms 08028369943 ; 08178784445 ( Beads & Aso-oke made by her)

If memory serves me well,i fell in love with the color white when i saw pictures of Erelu Dosunmu in the papers back in the 90s and i wondered how she never got bored or dirty *hides face* , considering my mum always spanked me for getting my school socks extremely dirty, lol. Eventually,i realised its a color for the bold & self-confident man / woman.

Tiwa savage also rocked this combo for her wedding & you'll definitely agree its a color combo not for the faint-hearted!

A Slight Variation, but you get my point :-D. Her accessories and makeup were definitely on point!

Tobs the Minimalist Bride
Tobi is a bride who is very simple in everything she does. Her choice of outfits were also very simple, most especially her wedding dress & choice of hairstyle (the classic bun). Rather than go for the handcut buba, she opted for a Lace Buba & Iro & a fuscia pink aso-oke Ipele & Gele ,which popped against the grey lace. Her beads were soft victorian pink glass beads. Great Chocies if you ask me.

Bukky The Diva ( beads also by Bimms above)

When you meet a bride like Bukky who is a great fan of beyonce(the singer & songwriter, lol), she went with 'Popping Shades'. Her Grey & Hot Pink combo complemented with the coral beads gave me life. I had to ensure her makeup was bold as she loves to be.

I bet you're asking, 'what of we that are dark-skinned'? . Trust me, you can rock all the above combos and the ones below:

Ope the Cutey!

Madam Busybee

So if for some reason you have been a little confused as to how certain combos look, i hope this post has been helpful.
